Pregnancy and Ultrasounds

This layout has pictures of her pregnancy and some ultrasound pictures. The other pictures and ultrasound images that I did not use are tucked inside a pocket that I made on the page (it's marked with a little post-it note to make it easier to find). You'll find several of these little pockets scattered throughout the book that hold extra pictures that I couldn't fit into the album. You'll also see that I did a lot of stitching on all the pages. I like to use a lot of layers, and the stitching helps keep all the pages a little more sturdy. The also helps when adding a pocket, so your goodies don't get stuck to adhesive inside the pocket and you don't have to worry about the pocket falling off and losing everything.

Introduction

This is the first page of the album. It has her first and middle name along with her birth date, length, and weight (which have been marked out in 'paint' to keep her information from being seen throughout the internet).

Cover Story

For the past 3 weeks, all I've been working on is a baby album for one of my husband's co-workers. This album has 13 layouts (12 page protectors), and an amazing 106 pictures!!! (Not including the ones that are stuck inside hidden pockets on several of the pages).

Here's the deal... I'm going to post one layout each day, starting today with the cover:

Ruffled Bags

It has been entirely too long since I've posted! Man! It's been a month! Well, I have been busy... creating! One thing I've been obsessed with lately are bags with ruffles. I've been ruffling up bags with ribbon left and right. These are $15.00 each, and can be personalized with any name, word, or phrase for only $0.25 a letter!

My Little Diva

This month is a big deal around here... my little diva turned 3 on Tuesday, my 21st birthday is on the 13th, and my brother turns 16 on the 28th, not to mention my grandpa's birthday, Father's Day, my cousin-in-law's birthday, and my grandparent's anniversary! WOW! This month will be crazy! Anyways, here's a layout that I put together about a month ago about Lola wearing my rainboots:

Summer is Here

Long time, no post. I don't know what's been going on lately, but I just can't get inspired to make hardly anything! This summer MemoryWorks is hosting their HUGE paper crafting convention. The previous image is part of their theme, and it sounds like something all of us crafters can really use... time to relax, have fun, and jump-start our creativity (and get me out of this slump!). Sadly, I won't be able to go to this convention. :( But I'm going to be challenging myself to get some projects done and hopefully get my inspiration and drive back this summer! Let me know what you all are going to be working on this summer!
